See SWNS story SWDRAGON: An inventor who was told by Dragons’ Den experts that his idea for a children’s ride-on suitcase was worthless has proven them wrong by taking home over £1million a year. Entrepreneur Rob Law, 31, came up with his idea for ‘Trunki’ in 1997 but was turned down when he appeared on the BBC show and asked for investment. Undeterred, he ploughed thousands of pounds into developing the product and today the brightly coloured suitcases sell in over 40 countries. Rob, from Clifton, Bristol, now employs ten people and his business has grown so much that it enjoys a turnover of more than £1 million a year.
