Jamin is an impressive entrepreneur because he was able to recognize a real need in the market, and was able to use the skills that he had learned in the military and in business to start a successful company. Pretty cool how you can be a disrupter in a market by simply being great in customer service. So often people think that you need to make some crazy new technology in order to disrupt a market but sometimes the answer is more simple. Chick-fil-a is differentiated in two ways, their patents on chicken fryers and their customer service. And usually customer service is easy to add to a company. Therefore, I will make sure my company someday is very heavy on customer service.
I like how Jamin was able to find out what people wanted and figured out a way to give it to those people. I think that we can learn about selecting an approach from Jamin’s example. He was able to find a small market where his skills would be needed and were there was demand. This is a great entrepreneurial example.
What a great idea to create a more welcoming enviroment for avid gun enthusiasts. I go down to my nearby gun shop fairly regularly and the customer service is not always the most helpful I will for sure be using them in the future. well done.
