Logan Hammerschmitt, born August 15 in 1993, is Vice President of Global Chart Service, LLC. “Global,” as they refer to it, distributes nautical charts with advertising on the back, free to the public paid for by the advertisers. Global Chart Services started in April of 2013 by Logan (VP) and John Skidmore (P), also referred to as Doc the most interesting man in the world. Global is based out of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. That is where they started. The team’s plan is to expand from Texas to Georgia, then all the way to Connecticut, onward west to the Great Lakes, to California, up the west coast to Washington, the Mississippi River, followed by the Caribbean, and finally Europe. This seems like a daunting task for a team of only two, but “fear not it will happen,” Logan told me in our interview on September 18, 2013. They are planning to sell franchises for each separate area. Logan is driven by the desire to be a successful entrepreneur. He was presented with the opportunity to assist with Global Chart Services, and he jumped on the chance. The idea of Global Chart Services is a great idea because it is a proven business model that they are just expanding past what has been done in the past. Logan is an infinity pool of ideas. This is what makes him so unique as an entrepreneur. He can go through any where from 10 – 50 ideas in just one day. 99% of them might be just ridiculous but there is always that one that has a real possibility at being great. Logan has several entrepreneurial traits. He is daring and willing to risk it all. He knows when something is possible or just straight up crazy. He understand how to handle money, he has several connections, and he never sleeps. Logan stated, “I have dashing good looks with my Super Man curl and my Ray Bans.” I am inspired by Logan through his never ending confidence in his ideas. He believes that everything is potential possible to a certain degree. I have always considered myself a “practical” entrepreneur and Logan shows me that it is okay to think outside the box.

He certainly has thought outside the box!
This is a great post haha wish i had more than one year with him!
Logan truly excels and does wonderful work when it comes to thinking outside of the box. Logan Hammerschmitt’s venture shows that products need to be innovative both with how they serve the consumer as well as how they work financially and logistically for the companies involved. Entrepreneurs who think the way Logan does deserve the success that is surely in their future.
