At age 9, Moziah Bridges started his company called Mo’s Bows. Mo’s Bows is a bow-tie business. At a young age, Moziah was driven by his love for style, especially style of the more expensive kind. Every time Moziah saw someone dressed well, he thought, “This man is about something.” This was something that Moziah wanted. He pursued his dream of making stylish bow ties. He learned how to sew from his grandmother and went out selling his unique bowties to local businesses. His company has grown to the point that he just signed a deal with the NBA to provide bowties to every team. Also, this deal is worth up to seven digits. He is only 13 and is already more successful than most are or will be. He is driven by a dream and now he has reaped the rewards for following that dream.
This is a pretty interesting idea. This kid had a passion for bow ties but saw a problem in that they were not stylish or unique enough, so he wanted to put his own creative touch to the product. He had the idea and later achieved the means of producing this product by learning how to sew from his grandmother. By providing his stylish bow ties, he provides a solution to his problem. As a result, he has become pretty successful. Nice post!
When someone sees an idea that they enjoy, it is great to see them go after it and get some help along the way. I loved doing projects with my Grandmother. It brought us together, and I learned so much while doing activities with her. I’m also glad that other people of our generation are noticing that dressing up is a really nice gesture, and hopefully something we can bring back into style. Great job to Mo on his creativity, and innovation to making us look great, one bow-tie at a time.
