At just 10 years old, Cory Nieves is the CEO and head of distribution of his own company, Mr. Cory’s Cookies.
After making cookies one day with his mom, Cory decided that he would like to sell cookies to save up money. With his mom’s support, Cory started making and selling homemade organic chocolate chip cookies. Due to large social media exposure, Cory now sells seven different types of cookies (Double Dark, Healthy Melty, Lemon, Madagascar, Oatmeal Raisin, Sugar, Chocolate Chip and White Chocolate Chip) at 1$ a piece, and sells more than 1000 cookies per weekend.
Through his cookies, Mr. Cory has been able to work with some of the nation’s leading companies and brands, including, but not limited to: Aetna, Barney’s, Bloomingdales, Citibank, J. Crew, Macy’s, Mercedes-Benz, Poterry Barn, Ralph Lauren, TOMS, Viacom, Whole Foods, Williams-Sonoma and more. In addition to working with nonprofits, such as Bergen’s Promise in Rochelle Park, New Jersey and the Children’s Aid Society in New York City.
Mr. Cory has even been featured in ABC News, CBS This Morning, ESPN’S “The Undefeated,” Good Morning America, FORTUNE Magazine, The TODAY Show, The Oprah Magazine and more news outlets, who just can’t get enough of Mr. Cory and his delicious organic cookies!
Entrepreneurship has no age! What a story! I find it incredible has quickly this brand has taken off. The companies in which he has been able to work with are no small names. I believe this is another great example of how social media plays such a large part in business as we know it today. Thanks for sharing!
It is quite astounding how young some entrepreneurs are and doing well with their business. Age 10 and he is already working with some big companies.
It’s impressive that such a simple business as cookies has brought in so much revenue. Being so young but already so successful is a huge accomplishment for Cory! Plus, he has already expanded his business to other types of cookies, so it’s already growing. Excellent job Cory!
It is really cool to see such young entrepreneurs taking on their ideas! I like that he makes organic cookies. Who wouldn’t want to eat a tasty cookie that isn’t terrible for you? And only $1 a piece?? That sounds like my kind of deal.
Awww this one was really sweet to read. It is oddly inspiring to see young people going out and pursuing ideas like this! Hope he makes it national one day!
I find it amazing that Cory is only 10 years old. The fact that he is already working with some of the leading companies and brands as well as appearing on the national news is truly amazing! This reveals that even young people can have an impact on the business world.
I was wondering if anyone knows what happened to Dime Piece LA celebrity streetwear brand? I am unable to check out on Dimepiecela site. I’ve read in Marie Claire that the brand was acquired by a UK-based hedge fund for $50 million. I’ve just bought the Nostalgia Luggage Tag from Ebay and absolutely love it xox
I love that Cory was only 10 years old and decided to start his own business. He created something organic too, that he knew people would like and may even be better for them. This was a really cool story.
