I would like to spotlight a group of young brothers who are entrepreneurs in the candle business who are helping the homeless with their candle business. The great idea did nit just stem for a need to help to homeless, it actually grew for a need for more allowance. The three brothers, 13-year-old Collin, 11-year-old Ryan, and 8-year-old Austin, started the business in 2017 in order to try and get more money for video games and Nerf guns. It was by suggestion of their parents that they start a business, so the started a candle company named Frères Branchiaux. The goals of the business quickly evolved and are displayed in their mission statement, “Our mission is to provide great scents and inspiration through candles! We also have a goal to help people who are experiencing homelessness. We donate 10% of our profits to D.C.-area homeless organizations. We believe that community is important, so we made sure that our business also supported the community.”
