Da Bomb was started by 2 sisters, who at the time were 11 and 12, and who loved the experience of having a bubbly fizzy bath. The experience was always fun, except for when it ended. The girls decided to create bath bombs that when they ended left a special gift behind. The bath bombs were also all natural which has added to their appeal. The girls created the bath bombs themselves from natural, simple, and high-quality ingredients. They are handmade by the girls in the USA. Due to their popularity the girls recently hired more people to help make them. Caroline and Isabel Bercaw continue to grow their business from Minneapolis where they first started it. They now sell in large department stores such as Target. Today their business is still going strong even as the girls continue as high school and college students.
this is a really cool story but I od think you maybe could have had the last word not all by itself. Besides that, I really liked it, especially since they’re around my age and I also have a sister. That’d be awesome if we could start a business together but we’d definitely argue too much. good for those sisters! lol
This are great, a favorite among my sister and her friends. A great example of how identifying a problem, no matter how small, can pay great dividends and bring happiness to so many people.
This post got me thinking, leaving me with some questions. I wonder, when did the girls transition from hand making the bath bombs to not being able to make that many and having to hire help? Did they hire the others to handmake the products for them or did they do it together? Did they find a way to make them with some sort of manufacturing or would they even be interested in that? In what ways are they involved with it now that they’re in high school and college? It is certainly impressive that they were able to get their product into Target! They came on the market for bath bombs at a good time. Thanks for sharing!
This is a simple + fun venture, and these girls have seemingly really worked hard to bring them the success that they’ve seen. This certainly serves as a great example of achieving great things at a young age!
