Like many young kids who live in suburban neighborhoods Ben Weissenstein decided to try and sell lemonade. He was only four years old and made only a few bucks, however this ignited something in him that he could not deny. As a young teen Ben followed his entrepreneurial spirit and created a garage sale business. His business at one time employed over thirty part time employees. His company helped people get rid of their no longer needed belongings. After awhile he decided to dive into a new realm of entrepreneurship, he started The Entitled Group. He was feature in Entrepreneurship Magazine and on Dr. Phil. Ben’s company helps young growing musical artists book concerts and shows around the country. Ben still keeps in touch with is garage sale business and is opening Grand Slam Garage Sales franchises near his home in Arizona. This is so neat to see how even at a young age of four Ben’s entrepreneurial spirit was there and continues to grow in him as he ages. He is only 19 years old and has already dabbled in three entrepreneurial ventures.
This is an amazing story! It’s incredible that he started when he was just four years old! I find it interesting how all of his ideas were different from each other, but all offered a unique solution to a problem I had never thought of before. He is a perfect example of just continuing to try new things.
This is so cool how he started at four years old and by the time he was my age he had his hand in 3 entrepreneurial ventures. I always wanted to do a lemonade stand and yard sales when I was younger, so it is cool to see that someone had a huge impact on his community and life by just making a simple lemonade stand and going from there. It just proves that everything starts small, and you never know what it could accomplish.
It is awesome to see how he had an entrepreneurial mind at such a young age and his drive kept him going till he was successful. It is also interesting to see that he is still working on his garage sale venture, even though he was successful with his other business, the Entitled Group. It is inspiring to know that it is possible to be a part of multiple businesses at once if the drive is there.
