One of the staples of millennial entrepreneurial thinking, Gerard Adams, exemplifies all the thoughts and principles that entrepreneurs should try to replicate.
Adams is a career entrepreneur, expert on branding, philanthropist, and critically acclaimed speaker and executive.
He is most famous for helping found the Elite Daily, known as the voice of Generation Y.
He sold this to Daily Mail for 50 million dollars. He is one of the most frequent contributes to Entrepreneur Magazine.
By seeing opportunities and jumping on them, Adams has made a name for himself and plenty of money to go along with it.
His ideas contribute to so many businesses and his website proves that. His mindset truly encapsulates what true entrepreneurship means. Even he said that he can still learn more about the world.
It seems as if he has a lot of promise. I wonder if he has branded himself in tune with Generation Y, or if by his actions, he just seemed to match Generation Y so well
I’m definitely going to do more reading on him. There is so much to be learned from successful entrepreneurs. I’ve learned so much from the Richard G. Staley ’62 Visionary Entrepreneur Speaker Series, and it’s shown me the importance of picking the brains of those who are/were successful. Founding Elite Daily must have been difficult. Considering the amount of data that generation Y gets flooded with, to stand out is difficult. It shows that Mr. Adams must have serious business prowess.
This post certainly stimulated my interest in Gerard. I like how he specially if aligned with Generation Y. I believe that specifying your market is crucial in this circumstance. Good post!
