If you walk into Hal on a busy day or during a class change, you will most likely see some guys with a really nice, messy/slicked back hair style. Those hair styles have possibly/most likely at some point been fueled by Hanz De Fuko. Hanz De Fuko is a hair styling brand that is know for their higher quality with even better results.
David Alfonzo, the founder of Hanz De Fuko, worked for many corporate companies in silicon valley. After twelve years of working for starting ups, he decided to start one of his own and aimed for a goal of being the most dignified, and different hair brands on the market. David teamed up with his friend Christopher Zent, who is the VP of sales and COO, and started creating and marketing the product.
When they were creating the variability of the product, they wanted to make sure there was a product for every single hair style, clothing style, and life style. This resulted in multiple variations of hair products such as a pomade, a clay(clay-mation), and wax. All these have variability of having a slicked back style, a more controlled style, and a messy appearance.
In conclusion, David Alfonzo symbolizes someone who thinks outside of the box as well as recognizes a problem and found a solution to it. He saw that there has not been a hair product that is suitable for various styles and there is not a product that works to their max results. In result, we see the Hanz De Fuko product lines.
Having personally used Hanz de Fuko products, I can confirm that they are both high-quality, affordable, and come with great packaging and customer service. Having a variety of products and giving out various free gifts and samples surely allowed for many loyal customers and repeat purchases.
I’m not much of hair product guy… I just kinda run my finger through my hair and walk out the door. That being said, there certainly is a market for high quality hair products. It’s kinda surprising that he jumped from Silicon Valley to hair products… but to each his own.
