Leanna Archer was just 8 years old when she had the idea to start her own business. She used her great grandmother’s recipe for an all-natural hair product to make small samples to give out for free to friends. Over 11 years, she developed a line of hair and skin products that are all natural, paraben and sulfate free products. Her business is called Leanna’s Essentials and it operates worldwide. The business was started in 2003. Her products include hair cleansers, nourishment treatments, and growth solutions, as well as face cleansers and masks. At 22 years old, she is the CEO of Leanna’s Essentials.

This is a GREAT example about how no one is too young to be an entrepreneur. Young kids should foster their creative spirit, they can really change the world with new ideas.
Anyone at any age can become an entrepreneur! It’s important to capitalize on the creativity that so many young children have, it can really grow into something sustainable.
Nice post! Being a guy I don’t really use a lot of facial cleansers and hair products besides shampoo and conditioner, but I love the idea of all natural products that still work. I am amazed by the fact that this girl was able to come up with the idea so young. I wish my family had some secret formula or recipe that I could use to make money :/
I always love to hear stories of very young entrepreneurs. They inspire to seek excellence in life. I do not have to wait to be out of college to work or get business experience. Kids at the young age of 8 are making a difference and proving that success is available for anyone.
