Joel Ansett is a wonderful example of a millenial entrepreneur. He is a singer/song writer, who biggest of all is married to my sister. Joel is a Grove City Alum who currently lives in downtown Denver, Colorado and is a worship leader at Saint Patrick Presbyterian Denver.
What inspires me about Joel is that he is constantly listening to the Spirit and boldly following wherever it leads him. This has led him in a plethora of different ways such as: pursuing a career in his music, MARRYING MY SISTER, moving to Denver to be a worship leader and most recently a Kickstarter campaign.
Joel is looking to raise $23,000 in order to record a full length album, get copies of his CD printed, marketing and distribution. He currently has raised just about half of the amount necessary for the Kickstarter to be funded. This project is something that personally I wholeheartedly believe in.
The video below is a brief description of his Kickstarter:

I love to hear that Ansett is not afraid to move wherever the Spirit moves him and also love that he has an entrepreneurial spirit. I personally really enjoy his music and I am very excited to hear he his working towards a full length album .
I miss hearing Joel’s music on campus. He was definitely the master of the coffeehouse concert at GCC. I wish him the best of luck with his Kickstarter campaign!
I love listening to Joel’s music! While he is an incredible artist, I think what inspires me more is that he loves music, he has a passion for it, and uses that passion to spread the love of Jesus to others. He doesn’t hide his talent, or shy away from fear of failure. Go Joel.
Joel is a really awesome example that to be an entrepreneur all need to have is a passion and a skill. In Joel’s case it is a really awesome skill, I can not wait to see how successful he is!
This is awesome! I also really enjoy his music; I actually got to see him perform for the first time (along with Jazmine Tate) at Beans on Broad last semester and I really loved it. I’m really looking forward to seeing his music career take off; his talents need to be shared and his music needs to be heard! 🙂 Great post, Ross!
What inspires me so much about Joel is that he is not afraid to engage his audience on all levels, from his listeners living rooms to social media platforms.
