Lemonlight is a company that provides profession video production equipment and software to small companies that want to create professional-grade informational videos. Due to the fact that this type of business model targets small business, of which there are many, Lemonlight picked up rather quickly. Founded in 2014, the company has produced 3,854 videos for various other companies to date. Lemonlight is based in Silicon Valley, the hub of modern, upcoming businesses. Because of this, they can provide their services directly to their peers.
Hope Horner, the founder, writes consistently for Entrepreneur magazine to share her experiences starting the business and all the information and wisdom she’s gathered by working with other small business.
I love how this video production company works primarily with small businesses. It is cool to see an established entrepreneur helping other entrepreneurs to succeed.
Informational videos are in high demand.Every conference I attend and start-up I see begin has a video that highlights what they do in an interesting and quick way. Their positioning in Silicon Valley also allows them to contact right with their clientele. Great point about that, and great post!
Great use of images in your post! I like how this woman is trying to help smaller businesses to succeed themselves rather than just going where the money is. It is also very good that they are located in Silicon Valley. They will be able to be involved with a lot of networking that will improve their company, as well as others.
Your point about Lemonlight being in Silicon Valley is so important. Silicon Valley is simply the place to be. If this business was based in Grove City, or maybe even Pittsburgh, it’s hard to say whether or not it would be successful. There’s such a high concentration of start-ups that all need to convey who they are and what they do, so it is only logical that this business should be in high demand.
I like how the idea is specifically tailored for small businesses. I think having a niche or specific market separates this company from its competition. Good post!
It’s great to see how businesses like these exist to help other businesses succeed in what they do. Since small companies may not have the means to make professional informational videos, it’s cool to see how this business fills that space.
What an awesome idea! There is a definite need for this and kudos to her for solving it. Great post!
