Luke Gilligan (right) and Ethan David (left) co- launched a unique product together, called the Resense Memory Box. Initially starting the Resense Memory Box as a class project at Grove City College, the potential for their product became more evident as time went on. Seeing the potential for their product to make a successful impact, Luke and Ethan decided to take the Resense Memory Box to the next level to help in the battle against Dementia and Alzheimers. Their product is a box that contains items such as adult coloring books, items like candles that focus on aromatherapy, fidgets that help improve dexterity and coordination, puzzles that help strengthen their mind, and more that help to keep dementia at bay. The purpose of the box is to focus on and strengthen the senses as a means of reaching the patients and slowing the development of Alzheimers. With both entrepreneurs having shared experiences concerning Alzheimers, Luke and Ethan are both up to the task of tailoring and marketing their product to effectively aid families in the battle against Alzheimers. Since their start, Luke and Ethan have made immense progress with their Resense Memory Box in the fight to help loved ones, and show no signs of slowing down
I love that you used an example close to home. These guys are definitely two entrepreneurs to look up to. Through their shared experiences in encountering Alzheimer’s, they were able to come together and make a product that would help people. We talk about the zones and modes of innovation in class, and this is a great example of these being used in a real example.
This is well written! Having had the pleasure to become good friends with these men, it is still so impressive to hear about this venture. They have done a serious job on the execution side, and are genuine in their hope to make an impact. They are making an impact with every new person to use their box, and internally they think deeply about what any decision might do to their ability to impact those in need.
