Moziah Bridges started his business based off of a simple problem, not able to find a suitable bowtie. When he was 9 he started Mo’s Bows and sewed bowties made by using his grandma’s leftover sewing projects. Bridges even appeared on shark tank when he was 20, and by then had up to $700,000 in sales. Barak Obama and many professional basketball players are some of the notable people that have worn his product. Notable companies like Cole Haan, Bloomingdale’s, and Neiman Marcus all carry his product. Moziah Bridges is a prime example of taking a simple problem and solving it into a successful business. The story is inspiring in how he did it at such a young age and even taught himself those skills. He is almost a prime example of what a successful young entrepreneur should look like.
This is very interesting, I saw this on shark tank and I immediately was captured by this kids passion for his product. He created such a high-value product worn by many famous people at a young age, just from starting with his grandmother’s leftover materials. I think this is a perfect example of a successful entrepreneur who has expanded his brand.
Some kids just have the natural instinct. What a great idea to take what you have and repurpose it to solve the problem. And to have the attention of a president and Shark Tank while only being in his 20s. Just flat-out amazing and inspiring to other youth. Showing that age is only a number when it comes to entrepreneurship.
