The beginning of Mr. Cory’s Cookies began when Cory was just six years old. He was sick of going to school in a bus and wanted to buy his own car. This started his idea of selling his own crafted hot coco to raise funds in his local town of New Jersey. After seeing how successful and how determined Cory was, his mother encouraged him to instead save his money abd make his own college fund.
After becoming very successful in just selling his hot-cocoa he decided he wanted to expand. He started diving in to creating his own lemonade and cookie recipes. Him and his mother kept experimenting different things. After many tries, they got the perfect chocolate chip cookie that was geared towards health-conscious people. He continued to expand to other cookies other than chocolate chip too. He works with many nonprofits and charity organizations to help raise awareness and be an impact in the world. He is constantly trying to innovate his company with new recipes and new products to keep his customers engaged with the company.
It is incredible how entrepreneurial Cory could be at just 6 years old. It is also awesome that he is already aware of the importance of philanthropy when running a business.
6 years old! Wow I don’t know if I could pick my own clothes out at 6. Cory was out there selling hot coco to save for his car and eventually his college fund. I think that my college fund would appreciate me a little more if I had started selling hot chocolate at 6. The most impressive thing about Cory is that he is sharing his success and giving back to good causes.
I love seeing how young entrepreneurs can thrive! The story behind this would really bring people into the business and they would be more invested when they hear about it. I think that Cory should continue his entrepreneurial journey and expand to other needs. Great post!
Although he almost seems he should be spreading himself to thin in ways of how many products he has, he at the same time is only producing quality goods. This story shows how you must be willing to adapt to the market and be willing to try new thongs that look like they would be successful. He never planned to get into the hot coco and cookie business but here he is, thrilling.
