Entrepreneur, Co-founder, and CEO Brennen Brynes created a software called Clef. Clef gets rid of the needs for passwords. With this software, you can automatically log into website based on the recognizing of your device. Clef is the safer, easier way to log in to websites without the hassle of passwords. Clef already powers logins for more than 40,000 sites across the web and is growing quite quickly among bitcoin, gaming, and developer tool sites. Brennen Brynes reinvented what many thought that a password could be, and because of this I believe he is a transformational entrepreneur.
This is a very interesting concept. I will be interested to follow this story more as it develops to see how they market the safety of this technology to a world so used to their passwords. I would also be interested to know if you are able to connect more than one device to your accounts, or if only one device, say a laptop, could be connected and users would only be able to log in on a laptop and not a mobile device.
I have a huge problem with remembering passwords. I keep hearing about large data breaches in the news which is why I follow all the rules to keep my passwords secure. The only problem is that I forget them easily and hate the hassle of having to look them up. I even forgot my password to login to this site which I had to reset with my email. Hopefully, a company like this will make passwords obsolete in the near future.
for someone who like to have very complex passwords and password safety, it makes me happy to see that people are making it even more safe for people like me who like to stay very secure! I may be looking into this!
