I remember when I was about 13 or 14 years old, I found an interest in coding. That is writing code on a computer for software development. However, I ran into a major issue. There weren’t many options for me to learn how to do anything spectacular. I constantly became upset because the YouTube videos I was watching did nothing for me. That is why Mark Pavlyukovskyy age 27 created Piper. “Piper is a kit that helps kids learn about coding and electronics by coding their own computer.” Forbes
This kit is able to be bought on Amazon for a fair price. It helps students to learn how to code with a hands on activity kit. This way the students stay engaged with what they are learning and they are able to put what they learn to use. The company has generated over $3 million on Amazon alone, and growing fast!
This is amazing my brother would love to code but, everything out there to the public is either too simple or too complicated and it frustrates him this seems like a happy middle ground that he can enjoy.
Personally, I enjoyed the computer programming class I took when I first got to Grove City but it was much too hard at the time for me. I wish I had something like this when I was a kid so I could develop an interest.
I love that fact that coding is becoming a more prevalent skill for today’s world. I especially love the fact that many education systems and parents alike are teaching their kids to code early on, and not just learn how coding works, but to also improve logical conceptions among the kids for other everyday things too.
This is awesome! As the world moves more and more digital, it is important for everyone to have an understanding of coding and programming, and something like this makes it fun and easy to learn from! Imagine being able to put something like this in our elementary schools and how much kids could learn and use in their future from something like this!!
This is so cool! What a genius way to get kids involved in programming, even if it is extremely low-grade. Maybe this will spark some interest in kids and really take off. Great post.
For me i don’t know a thing about coding and this product would probably teach me a few things. I would like to hear more about how this product works. It’s still interesting how many kids are interesting in this.
