At the age of 23, YouTube video blogger (vlogger) Alfie Deyes has already created an online empire. Having launched his extremely popular YouTube channel PointlessBlog in 2009 while still in school, self-employed Deyes has now garnered over five million subscribers across his YouTube channels. His PointlessBlogGames and PointlessBlogVlogs boast a remarkable one million and three million, respectively, subscribers.
Basing his content on the PointlessBlog around viral challenges and games, Deyes’ social media reach isn’t limited to YouTube either. His Facebook page has attracted more than 1.5 million fans, and his Instagram account five million followers.
Like any successful entrepreneur of the digital age, Deyes hasn’t solely relied on his virtual presence to achieve success. He has already released two books, both of which came with extra downloadable content, and has launched his own line of PointlessBlog merchandise which includes accessories ranging from hoodies and hats to phone cases and jewelry.
With the digital world bolstering in popularity, Deyes has a great opportunity to experience many lucrative opportunities and the future for him and his entrepreneurial ideas are surely bright!
Its impressive how he didn’t stop at just getting a lot of followers and subscribers. He actually made hats and other items to sell and make more money from.
Really an incredible story! He looked at what was popular in this day and age and that is obviously the internet and social media. He took that and he ran with it!
