Anna Bond always loved stationary and pretty illustrations. After studying graphic design and creating a few posters for her husband’s band, she decided to create her own stationary brand. Most of her easily distinguishable pieces are floral designs or illustrations. She has expanded her brand over the past few years, and it now includes fabric, calendars, books covers, phone cases, planners, and more.
Rifle Paper Co. goes beyond an ordinary stationary company. Anna Bond seeks to create an experience for her customers. The stationary industry is currently full of elaborate designs, but Anna Bond attracts people with her simple–yet beautiful–brand and style. She unifies her brand with her classic floral pattern and hand drawn illustrations. This helps her brand stand out and makes her company great.
Anna Bond mixed her passion of design with her desire to innovate. She was not discouraged by the already saturated stationary market, but she found a way to create a successful and distinctive brand.

Really interesting article Lindsey! I never would have thought that something like this could be made into a business, but it is so cool to see that she was able to take her passion for art, and turn it into a beautiful product. That truly reflects a creative ability and entrepreneurial mind.
Anna Bond is a great example of someone who sees their talents uses them. The best part is, she loves to do it so she will be making money while not even having to “work”. She has a very creative mindset which is very important for successful entrepreneurs. The market must be very competitive though. It seems as though a lot of people are doing this sort of thing nowadays. I bet you could even do that Lindsey. Just start drawing super cool designs and use them for raw milk containers. I’d probably by 15 gallons just for the hand drawn artwork.
This company does a great job at diversifying themselves and making their business different. I am sure that they have experienced some success with the rise of the customization age. I know many people that would really enjoy this product. One that comes to mind is Michael Scott
This is a cool story! I love the fact that she didn’t let other stationary companies intimidate her out of pursuing what she loved. Sometimes, as a society, we complicate things that actually need to be simplified. This is a genius idea. People probably appreciate the simple patterns more than the intricate ones because they are easier for us to understand.
The names Bond… Anna Bond. This lady is definitely her own version of an incredible super spy. She definitely sneaked up on the industry and now seems to be doing very well for herself. If i ever have the service in which she provides, I’ll be psyched to use Rifle Paper Co.
This sorta reminds me of those adult coloring books, with all the cool designs and patterns that you can then color in. If she hasn’t done this already, Anna could certainly do this with her patterns! To be honest, I’m kind of surprised no one else came up with this idea. I mean, it’s fairly simple (if you’re an artist, unlike me). Plus, she is taking common things (notebook, phone cases, paper, etc.) and making them into something innovative and new. Shows a pretty cool twist on everyday items.
