He then started to do this practice with his neighbors until he started his business at age 7 called Ryan’s Recycling Company. Quickly he gained recognition and appear on the famous Ellen show. Ryan has raised more than $14,000 and helped recycle 1.5 million cans/bottles. He also started a non-profit to even educate kids on the importance of recycling. It is amazing how Ryan saw a big problem and even at a young age did something proactive against it. It also encourage and inspiring to be like Ryan and try to make a difference in what you are doing. “If a kid like me can make a difference, anyone can, too.” – Ryan Hickman
