I am by no means trying to be controversial, but I feel as though Kylie Jenner should be discussed if we are talking about young entrepreneurs. Kylie comes from a very famous family and she has a very large following. But Kylie is also the owner, founder, and CEO of Kylie Cosmetics, an American Cosmetics. She was only 21 years old when she became a billionaire. That is literally just from her cosmetic company. This money was not from her previous fame or her family’s money. She beat Mark Zuckerberg by two years and that is unheard of.
I believe to be successful you have to use whatever you can. She was just a 21 year old girl who loved doing her make up because it made her feel pretty and she wanted to make other people feel pretty. She used her platform to market it and it took off. She was one of the first of her famous family to break away and to make her own business. Say what you want about her and her family but their marketing is unmatched. Kylie is the youngest child of a family of famous people and she just said I like make up so I am gunna sell make up. She built this brand of products that were different and new and she ran with it and it worked. She wasn’t reinventing the wheel, but she was very entrepreneurial in thinking.
Could not have said it better. Although that family is surrounded by a lot of controversy in many ways, they market themselves amazingly. Also even though Kylie did come from a famous family, she used it to her benefit, in her own way and with her own company. She is definitely an entrepreneurial thinker in a 1 to N capacity. Great response!
