Slime has become a huge deal in the kid world today. Children are making slime everyday for entertainment. So, Maddie Rae decided she wanted to make a business out of it called Maddie Rae’s Slime Glue. She found it quite difficult to find glue in stores, so she combined that with her passion of making slime in order to make a business out of it. However, after becoming extremely successful she decided to expand her business to selling a range of slime, slime glue, and slime accessories. Her website contains the products
she is aiming to sell, but it also includes things such as tips and tricks on how to make slime, slime recipes, explaining how slime works, etc. Her four main featured products are original clear and white glue, extra thick glue, slime clay, and scented oils. However, it is important to note that those four items are not her only products available to her buyers. Maddie Rae hosts a slime bash, she has won Guinness World Record Largest Slime (13,820 pounds), and she even has an orange neon slime glue recipe. Overall, Maddie Rae has conducted a super successful business and it is definitely a huge hit in the kid world today.
It is amazing how such a simple overlooked idea can create such a niche and large opportunity for business. I babysit a lot of kids and trust me, you are totally right, lots of kids are influenced by these videos and love her products!
This is truly amazing. The ability to look at something and thing “This something that people would watch” A young persons ability to generate million of social media interaction based off a simple concept. This is really awesome.
It is crazy how someone can create a business out of a household thing that anyone can create. This proves that with enough creativity anything is possible. It is cool how she almost markets herself and her skills along with the slime gaining exposure with world records and offering tips rather than just selling slime she creates.
I think it’s so interesting how she created this really interesting business out of something as simple as slime. It goes to show that you should never count out any ideas, because anything could work.
