Solar FREAKIN’ Roadways is an idea that wants to make solar panels that can be walked or driven on. Their main goal is to create lines on the road without paint, while also containing heating elements to prevent snow and ice accumulation on the road. I think this would be a really cool thing and hope that it happens everywhere!
This could be a really revolutionary invention and it has the potential to really change our energy problems.
Wow, imagine if all roads were made of solar panels. Imagine if all sidewalks were solar panels. This would change human civilization completely with that amount of energy could be harnessed.
Clean energy production and integration into a socio-cultural standpoint is definitely a hot topic for the future. This could be something that is incredibly revolutionary, especially in regions where it is sunny all the time and the solar panel energy input could be maximized.
This sounds like a collaboration of innovation for several different fields of industry and I hope that it is successful in its startup! I think that it could be huge for anywhere in the country that has substantial sunlight!
This business is so innovative and it would be amazing to see this actually be successful and make an impact.
This is a very interesting idea. It provides a service while it collects solar energy. Very innovative idea
I can’t imagine how expensive it would be to replace all the major U.S. roads with solar panels, however once they’re in place I’m sure they’d pay themselves off quickly. Hopefully this comes into fruition.
This is an awesome idea that would not only make driving more convenient and cause less traffic in bad weather, but it would also decrease accidents. Snow can be super dangerous to drive in and is the cause of a lot of accidents, so solar roadways would negate most of these accidents.
This seems like a very innovative, and possibly, lucrative business if they were able to accomplish this. By doing this, so many roads with in the US could be used to give clean energy to the towns around them. I would be interested in seeing the technology behind these solar panels.
