The apparel industry contains a large mix. There are so many different things to factor in, what apparel are you selling? Who is your target market? Value proposition? What designs and styles will you use? Those are just some of the things to consider when creating your own apparel brand. Social media has a positive correlation to the number of sportwear and fitness themed apparel. In addition to fitness targeted apparel, Christian themed apparel has been increasing as well. More and more brands are targeting Christians the same way more and more brands are targeting sportwear. Three Nails Clothing is a brand that is taking the world by storm, and I believe it has potential to be primary competitor for other Christian Sportwear brands if it isn’t already.
The Christian Athlete brand “Three Nails Clothing” was founded in 2017 by Derek, who is also the CEO of the brand. It started with two desires that Derek had, two passion’s he had. Number one, Derek wanted to wear something comfortable to the gym, and number two, Derek also wanted something that represented what he believed in, the truth. The collision of these two ideas or desires birthed Three Nails Clothing. Before the founding of Three Nails Clothing, there was not much depth, if any at all, in the Christian fitness apparel market. In fact, Three Nails is the first brand that incorporated fitness apparel for Christians Three Nails Clothing differentiates from it’s competitors through the popular style/logo design, and the premium fabrics that the apparel contains, giving the clothing a boost in comfort. The mission of Three Nails was to create a brand for athletes who represent or want to represent the Kingdom of God. Their logo design contains three nails, hence the name, and the nails represent the crucifixion of Jesus Christ, a beautiful symbolism where Christians can express the most important thing of Christianity as a whole.
He was able to find a niche in the large clothing industry, which is a main reason he has been successful! It’s a great way to share his beliefs too.
I really like this! He found an area in the market that he could add a product too. He was able to use his passions to make a product that shared his faith.
