Tyler McNaney dropped out of Vermont Technical College at 25 to Pursue his Project Filabot. Filabot is a series of machines that convert recyclable discarded plastic into usable plastic pellets for 3D printing. Now that his company has 8 workers he is still very Integrated into the company’s operations, simultaneously spearheading company endeavors and designing new products. The company develops a series of machines that perform every task in the process of turning plastic trash into pellets, then into 1.75mm filament for standard 3D printing use.
This sounds like a really cool company! I like how you covered a small company with only 8 workers and talked about the impact that it still has. I love the idea of using recyclable plastics for 3D printing and this sounds like a really different entrepreneurial venture. Good job!
