Adelle Archer: CEO Eterneva

Today’s young entrepreneur that I am going to talk about is Adelle Archer. She is the CEO of Eterneva which is a company that honors the lives of people and pets by turning their cremated ashes into diamonds. As the article says about Eterneva, it has been a very successful company, in 2019 it was named Consumer Startup of the Year by Stevie Awards and was also featured on Shark Tank receiving an investment by none other than Mark Cuban. I think is a great example of a young entrepreneur, Adelle really is a great example of creating an idea that is not just profitable, but also impacts the lives of those who lost someone dearly in a very resounding positive way. Entrepreneurship isn’t about making profits and money, it is about creating an idea that is serviceable to customers and really makes a impact on those who buy into it. Adelle definitely shows that and it is very inspiring to see someone change the lives of many, no matter how small it may be, it is a huge thing for those who get to see the lives that were lost get carried on in a great way.

51 Remarkable Young Entrepreneurs To Watch in 2021

Miracle Olatunji: OpportuniMe

For this young entrepreneur, Miracle is someone who knows what it is like to not know where to begin when we grow up, I mean in our offense we are still young and destined for great things, but there are moments where we want to know what our purpose is and what will we do with our lives. That is something that many young people deal with because sometimes we are just lost and don’t even know where to start. Here at OpportuniMe, this gives young people a chance to figure out what it is that they want to do with their lives. You are able to discover a passion of yours that is worth pursuing, create a network of people that have the same vision as you, and you can find careers that you would like to be able to experience or even create a life with once your done with college. We all have passions during this critical time in our lives, it is about time that we discover what it is and how we can transcend it in our lives and impact others around us, at OpportuniMe, it gives you just that because just like everyone else, Miracle didn’t know where to begin or even know what she is passionate about, that is why she created this platform so that others just like her can see what opportunities are set for them. I find this really amazing because it shows that even though we are young, we can still figure out what it is that we like to do, but remembering that we are young and we have a lot of time to figure out our passions, it is good to try and do some new things because in the end it is the experiences that really matter along our journey of life.

Kevin Smiley: SuraiTea Inc.

For today’s blog I will be talking about a young entrepreneur Kevin Smiley who started a tea packaging business which hires recently arrived Syrian refugees. His business is tea packaging, his objective/mission is to create high value jobs for refugees. At the same time, Kevin also wants to create a sustainable source of corporate donations from SuraiTea to the not-for-profits active in the refugees resettling effort. For me, Kevin Smiley is a entrepreneur that I would like to emulate one day when I try and become an entrepreneur because for me, this organization that he has created which is tea packaging and his objectives to help refugees is truly inspiring. I think from my perspective, entrepreneurship seems like a complicated task or career to try and take on, and the truth is that it really is, but after reading about Kevin and what he has done, I start to think maybe if I just simplify it down to a simple product or one simple step, then from there I can move forward. The fact that Kevin uses tea packaging as his active income to help support his mission which is to help recently arrived Syrian refugees get strong foundational jobs is to me just brilliant and well thought out. It proves two things that are important, entrepreneurship starts with a simple product, and two it is all about helping and impacting others, not just yourself.

Bonnie Chiu: Lensational

In today’s blog, I will be talking about a young entrepreneur named Bonnie Chiu who is very passionate about photography and just at the age of twenty-three years old, she founded an organization called Lensational. This organization is a non-profit that helps with marginalized women get equipped with cameras and photography training. For me I find this really interesting because photography to many is a passion that helps explore imagination and really see the beauty in capturing amazing moments, memories, or even important issues at hand. I chose this young entrepreneur specifically because I somewhat do like photography (even though I am not the best at it), but I still find it amazing and inspiring to see a young entrepreneur like Bonnie Chiu helping marginalized women really breakthrough the stereotypes and see what they can really do with a camera. Knowing Bonnie’s passion for photography, this is a great example of what an entrepreneur really is. When your an entrepreneur, you don’t do whatever it takes to make a lot of money, instead you find your passions and really see where that passion can take you. I find it here with Bonnie Chiu that she does exactly that and really helps give an insight to what it means to follow your dreams and help others along the way.

Benjamin Stern: Nohbo

One of the young entrepreneurs of todays generation is a young man named Benjamin Stern, he has created a product that is beneficial to his customers and the environment which is called Nohbo. Now your probably wondering what does a company like Nohbo do and what problem is it trying to solve. Well first their product is everyday use when we are in the bathroom, as we all know there are some products like shampoo, body wash, or even shaming cream that can have harmful chemicals within them and in return can be damaging for our skin. Another problem that Benjamin saw was how these products that can have harmful chemicals can also affect the environment, so he created a company called Nohbo. This company sells water-soluble packets that contain shampoo, conditioner, body wash or shaving cream that contain no harsh chemicals. The benefit for the environment is that it doesn’t generate any plastic waste. Nohbo has been featured on Shark Tank and has been invested in by Mark Cuban. Benjamin Stern found his passion for this company back when he was a freshman in high school, seeing this type of problem encouraged him to try and help both sides of the spectrum, the people and the environment which we live in.
