Daniel Ek is the cofounder and CEO of Spotify. His help with the company revolutionized the way people today listen to music. Thanks to his efforts, the 36 year old man from Sweden is now a billionaire. Before Spotify, Ek was working creating websites for businesses, eventually charging $5000 for a website. From there he worked for several startups that were successful.

Ek is a great example of someone going into a field and working his way to the top. He had a great product and did a fantastic job of making a successful company. Spotify specifically has raise over $2 billion in venture funding. His share of Spotify alone is north of $1 billion. He is clearly one of the most successful millennial entrepreneurs.

I admire the way Ek worked throughout his life. He started making websites by himself and got to the point where he could jump onto a startup team that ended up selling to eBay. His ventures in entrepreneurship are hard to match. And I admire the way he worked to get Spotify to the point it is at today.

At 35 years old, Gerard Adams is a terrific example of a millennial entrepreneur. Adams started Elite Daily News, a company for news targeted at millennials. Adams sold his business to Daily Mail for $50 million. Adams is now in his home state of New Jersey working for Entrepreneur Magazine.

Along with Entrepreneur Magazine, Adams is working on another startup, Fownders which helps millennials create their own startups.

Adams work with millennials has been outstanding. No matter which side of the political spectrum and whether or not you agree with the news Adams is putting out, there is no denying he has done great work helping millennials out.

I admire Adams desire to help people, especially people his own age. He isn’t content with being a successful entrepreneur, he wants others to join him in the success he has earned. Adams is a great example to his peers, those who have succeeded in entrepreneurship, that people shouldn’t get complacent. His social impact on others has been outstanding and should be well noted by others.

Aubrey Drake Graham, is a Canadian singer, actor, and entrepreneur. He was born in raised by his mother in Toronto, Ontario. With his mother working paycheck to paycheck, Drake began an acting career, appearing on the show Degrassi. In 2008 Drake began his music career, rapping and was later signed to Young Money Entertainment Label. From there his music career became extremely successful and in 2012, Drake started his own record label OVO Sound. Since then, Drake has become a superstar in the rap game and a public figure in Canada and the United States.  He also became a global ambassador for the Toronto Raptors basketball team, joining their executive committee.

Drake didn’t have an easy upbringing with his father not in the picture. The fact that he had to create opportunities for himself, and couldn’t take anything for granted growing up has kept Drake motivated to not only continue his personal success, but to help others succeed. He started OVO sound so that he could not only produce his music himself, but so that he could also give others a platform to showcase their musical talents. He has showcased his entrepreneurial traits through adapting to the current rap industry and signing new artists in order to stay ahead of that industry.

Drake has inspired many people in many different ways, but Drake inspires through his story of self-made success and through the ways he has shared his wealth with others. In 2018, Drake filmed a music video to his hit song, God’s Plan. During the music video, Drake decided to pay for everyone in a Miami grocery store’s groceries. The total came out to around $175,000. His generosity has inspired me to put others first and his life story has shown me that I can achieve anything I set my mind to. I believe that mindset is great for an entrepreneur to have. No matter how hard things were, Drake made the best out of his situation, and that in itself shows why Drake has been successful, not only in his music, but in his entrepreneurial endeavors.
