Gymshark

Ben Francis, born in the United Kingdom, is the Founder and majority shareholder of the brand Gymshark. Before Gymshark, Ben had two brainchildren, “Fat loss abs guide”, and iPhysique. These did not launch as well as his third idea however, but were his start into the fitness industry. Ben Francis actually began Gymshark as a supplement selling site, drop shipping various supplements. He started this while working at pizza hut, though quickly left. This company has obviously grown to be so much more than supplement sales in his garage. He started working with his sewing machine to create clothing, then realized what he could do with that skill. Since then, Gymshark has grown to be a massive clothing company, from less than $700 per day to around 128 million dollars annually. Gymsharks success has been enough to put him on Forbes’ 30 under 30 list, which is quite impressive. The Gymshark, clothing brand has been wildly popular recently, with the help of other important people supporting the brand as well. Young people are drawn to the brand, as they see their fitness role models dressing themselves in it. From fitness tiktokers to Chris Bumstead (2x Classic Mr. Olympia), it is no hardship to see why. By sponsorship, influence, hard work, and pivoting, Ben Francis built Gymshark to arguably be the most iconic fitness brand on the market.

Jimmy Donaldson, also known by many as “Mr. Beast”, is an influential character in today’s Youtube scene. At age 23, living in North Carolina, Jimmy is a professional gamer, content creator, and online streamer. Though he may seem to just be another Youtuber, he has actually been one of the most generous celebrities on the platform.

His odd entry into popularity on Youtube was a video of himself counting to 100,000, watched by 21 million people. This was followed up by another video of a similar nature, with him counting to 300,000. Two ridiculous, unnecessary feats, though he knew it would rally spectators, and subsequent subscribers. Between setting off the worlds largest firework, to setting the world record for Christmas lights on a house, he has had no shortage of ideas. Mr. Beast has always had a knack for realizing what will procure views and subscribers. He has done quite well and has also done some amazing things.

With millions of Youtube subscribers, and fans on all platforms, Mr. Beast sets out to perform expensive stunts and wild challenges. He constantly makes his group of fellow creators compete for prizes and cash. Jimmy Donaldson doesn’t stop there though, as he rakes in 100% of his add revenue, he uses a massive amount of it to donate to a multitude of charities and organizations. Even then he doesn’t stop, he is constantly giving out gifts and money to people in need, even without specific organizations tied to them. Yes, it helps him gain publicity, though with that added publicity he uses his revenues to do even more good. So far, Donald has raised well over his own net worth, in addition to the actual money he is giving away himself. Mr. Beast is entrepreneurial in the sense that he uses his channels and merchandise to grow a huge philanthropic footprint. He found a different way to use media, and by performing his shock value tricks and stunts, he is able to do good all over the world.
