David Karp

David Karp is a young entrepreneur who is best known for founding the microblogging and social networking website Tumblr. Karp launched Tumblr in 2007, and the website quickly gained popularity among users who were looking for a more visual and user-friendly platform for sharing content online. Karp’s success with Tumblr has made him one of the youngest and most successful entrepreneurs in the world. In 2013, Yahoo! acquired Tumblr for over $1 billion, making Karp a millionaire at the age of 27. He remained with the company as CEO until 2017, when he announced his decision to step down. In addition to his work with Tumblr, Karp is also involved in several other entrepreneurial endeavors. He is a board member of the New York City Ballet, and has also invested in and advised several other startups. Despite his success, Karp has faced some criticism and controversy. Some users have accused Tumblr of being too permissive with adult content, and the company has faced several high-profile cyber attacks. However, Karp has remained focused on his mission to provide a creative and expressive platform for users, and continues to be a prominent figure in the tech industry.

Mark Zuckerberg

Mark Zuckerberg is a young entrepreneur who is best known for co-founding the social networking website Facebook. Zuckerberg founded Facebook in 2004 while he was a student at Harvard University. The website was initially only available to students at Harvard, but it quickly expanded to other colleges and universities, and eventually to anyone with an email address. Zuckerberg’s success with Facebook has made him one of the youngest and most successful entrepreneurs in the world. He has been recognized with numerous awards and honors, including being named to Time magazine’s list of the 100 most influential people in the world. In addition to his work with Facebook, Zuckerberg is also involved in several other entrepreneurial endeavors. He co-founded the internet.org initiative, which aims to make internet access more affordable and available to people around the world. He is also a board member of the solar-powered internet provider, SolarCity. Despite his success, Zuckerberg has faced some criticism and controversy. He has been accused of stealing the idea for Facebook from other students, and has been the subject of lawsuits over the ownership of the company. However, Zuckerberg has remained focused on his mission to connect people around the world and continues to be a driving force in the tech industry.

Elon Musk

Elon Musk is the definition of a revolutionary entrepreneur. Musk was born to a South African father and a Canadian mother. He displayed an early talent for computers and entrepreneurship. At age 12 he created a video game and sold it to a computer magazine. In 1988, after obtaining a Canadian passport, Musk left South Africa because he sought the greater economic opportunities available in the United States. Musk graduated from the University of Pennsylvania and then attended the university of Stanford for graduate school but dropped out after only a few days to pursue his entrepreneurial ventures full time. That decision paid off because in 2002 Paypal which he helped found was sold to Ebay for 1.5 billion. Musk was the largest shareholder at the time of acquisition and he gained 176 million from selling the company. Musk also founded SpaceX, a company that builds rockets and sends them to space. However, what is most known for is his involvement with the company Tesla which he became a big investor in before it launched. He eventually became CEO and the rest is history. Elon Musk’s most recent endeavor involved purchasing Twitter, this acquisition I believe was not for his own personal gain but it is to make the world a better place and fighting for free speech on social networks. He is one of a kind and there will never be another entrepreneur like Elon Musk.

Riccardo Iannucci-Dawson

Riccardo Iannucci-Dawson is my young entrepreneur. He is 31 years old and started a company called “Yourkeys”. His company is unique because it is the first Platform to offer a completely integrated solution to accelerate the time to exchange while giving every stakeholder the ability to track the purchase process in real time. Yorkies is a sales platform for new homes Dawson made it really simple by automating fire on boarding in all the tasks that come with it. All the application processing sources of funds Gathering, payment processing, and a whole lot more oh, it’s all done on the same platform. They also deliver real-time sales progression tracking through Integrations into all of the major law firms and Brokers cases and Management Systems. Dawson is so Innovative because you made something that is extremely stressful and complex, streamlined and simple. He did this through bringing the tiresome and seemingly never-ending house buying process and putting it all together in one place. This makes it a lot less painful and a lot more organized, he didn’t create a new house buying process but he created a new platform for the house-buying process. Dawson didn’t necessarily come from the entrepreneurial background oh, this makes him especially Innovative because he started out in architecture and then moved into new home sales. When he joined New home sales she couldn’t get past this fact that there had to be an easier way and a better process for new house buying. Dawson took advantage of the new age of technology and his architectural background and put a new structure together to create an online platform to streamline new house buying and put all of the components that come with it in the same place. Overall I think Dawson just used his prior experience and saw a problem that needed to be fixed and decided to become the solution.

Jimmy Donaldson, known world wide as Mr. Beast may just seem like a Youtuber and content creator to some people but within this he is extremely successful and is absolutely a entrepreneur. What is unique about Jimmy is that he started from nothing, he lived in his mothers house and made gaming videos and posted them onto YouTube. He would get very few people to view his videos but accumulated a small following overtime. After Jimmy graduated high school he tried to attend a local community college but ended up dropping out of college after only two days. Now some people way say this is crazy or even stupid but that is what makes most entrepreneurs so successful. They commit to a certain way of living because they cut off or quit another way of living. In Jimmy’s case, he dropped out of college but he also got kicked out of his mother’s house and was forced to get a job and rent an apartment on his own. This made him commit to the grind of expanding his influence on YouTube, because he knew he did not want to work a job everyday, he wanted to just be a Youtuber. Jimmy is innovating because he went from crappy videos and a small following to now one of the biggest names in YouTube with over 100 Million subscribers and rakes in an insane amount of income. His income didn’t just fall into his lap however, he monetized podcasts, multiple YouTube channels, opening his own restaurants, food banks, chocolate bar company, and more. He figured out how to use his following to make new avenues of revenue and is also impacting the world in a postitive way in the process. This inspiries me because he is also very young, only in his mid twenties and is uber successful.

My young entrepreneur is 23 year old Benjamin Stern, who is Founder and CEO of the company Nohbo. His company is unique because he is in the CPG market but his product is completely biodegradable. His goal is to eliminate plastic in the industry. This is what drove him to the begin the company when he was only 16 years old. His Grandmother was also a strong proponent of his company and since her passing he has only done greater things for the company. Stern also appeared on Shark Tank when he was a freshman in high school and landed a deal with Mark Cuban. He is innovating because nobody to this point has successfully created biodegradable shampoo and other showering products. As a 16 year old this young man has many entrepreneurial traits but the biggest one is that he identified a problem and is trying to solve it. Although the over use of plastic is not a new problem, it is still a major problem and had yet to be approached in the CPG market until Stern decided to take it on with his idea. He also has some serious grit, after he got his deal with Mark Cuban he got sales for his product but he ran into a serious issue. His product was faulty and ultimately was bad, but he never quit or gave up, he didn’t stop working until 2 years later he found the solution and got it right. Now he has a multi million dollar deal with a hotel company in the UK and is raising more founding for the production and perfection of his product. This inspires me because Stern was able to have success at a young age but didn’t settle for a faulty product. He worked hard to make his product better and never gave up, that is very inspiring.
