Blogilates: Innovater of the Pilates World

A current fitness trend among young women is Pilates, but entrepreneur Cassey Ho had a passion for Pilates long before it became a trendy internet phenomenon. She had an entrepreneurial drive from a young age, beginning with a cookie business as a child. She loved movement, which inspired her to start uploading instructional Pilates classes on her YouTube channel called Blogilates. She also started a business designing yoga mats. This business was born out of her frustration with the current yoga mats available, so she decided to create her own. Her goal with her YouTube videos was to make exercise fun and accessible to all. She highlighted this with her upbeat background music, encouraging instructions, and beginner-friendly modifications. Her videos became popular as positive comments and subscribers grew. Her yoga mat business also grew, expanding to activewear and gear, and earned the name POPFLEX. She started a blog to Accompany her YouTube videos, which skyrocketed in popularity. She coined the term POP Pilates, a form of pilates set to the beat of pop songs. This has become her signature method, and she even created a POP Pilates teaching certification course so others can teach her methods too. Her Blogilates blog and YouTube channel have reached an eight-figure net worth and POPFLEX has reached a seven-figure net worth. Her approach to these businesses has always been innovation. When she was dissatisfied with her slippy yoga mats and uncomfortable leggings, she designed her own, when she was bored of Pilates, she created POP Pilates. Her creativity and drive were recognized when she won the Digital Influencer Award and The Best Sports and Wellness Channel. Most notably, Target now sells her fitness equipment and supplements. An example of entrepreneurial passion and drive, Cassey has impacted the YouTube, activewear, pilates, and blogging communities.
