This design significantly impacted the game, influencing the direction of golf club development for years to come. In 1998, the company reached another milestone with the introduction of the TaylorMade Burner Bubble driver. This club featured a large, bubble-shaped graphite shaft that reduced drag, making it more aerodynamic and increasing clubhead speed. Bauer Hockey

Bauer is one of the most popular brands of equipment in the hockey world. Wilhelm Bauer founded the company when he was only 21 years old in 1927. Wilhelm Bauer was from Ontaria, Canada and found his love for hockey as it was rapidly growing in the early 20th century. The first thing that Bauer focused on was skates. Bauer revolutionized how skates were made, as Bauer was the first hockey company to begin producing hockey skates in which the blade was permanently secured. This design innovation set the foundation for Bauer’s reputation for cutting-edge technology and performance-driven products. Today, they have products that range from all types of equipment and even clothing as well. In years following, the best product that Bauer Skate’s produced was marketed under the trade name “Bauer Supreme”. In the 1960s & 70’s, the company paid superstar Bobby Hall to endorse their skates. That continues today, as some of the very best players in the NHL are signed with Bauer. In 2006, beginning with the release of the Nike Bauer Supreme One90, the company’s products were rebranded as Nike Bauer. This was the first time that Nike had ever agreed to partner with another brand for a product. Since Nike was a household name, this greatly helped the popularity of Bauer products. Wilhelm Bauer helped build Bauer hockey into what it is today, with it being worth 1.39 billion dollars. Because of Wilhelm’s innovation at such a young age, his invention and further development of hockey equipment has revolutionized the game and paved the way for what is has grown into today.
