There’s nothing quite like the success of a young entrepreneurs. The success of Nick D’Aloisio is no exception. This 17 teen-year-old self-made millionaire started his career as an app developer at the ripe age of twelve. He saw a unique problem that called for action and used his childhood creativity to produce a useable and potentially valuable solution. Nick found that when reading, most authors were unnecessary wordy. He searched for a way to condense the text into a simpler and less time consuming version but turned up empty handed. Nick, who had been working on computers since he was six years old, decide to develop an app. This beyond brilliant teenager began developing his app, and by the time he was fourteen introduced Trimit; a useful and easy to use text summarizer. The app was a huge success and after only a few months in production he sold the application for 300,000 dollars. Instead of spending the cash, he re-invested the money into a new app. Nick spent the next two years creating a better, faster and more accurate version of Tirimit. He introduced his new app, Summly when he was seventeen. The app sold almost instantly. Yahoo saw the potential of this great idea and purchased the smartphone app for 30,000,000 dollars. Nicks was not able to succeed simply because of his obvious brilliance, he had to put in years of hard work to achieve it.
