Summer Sweets?

Gus Schoenbachler, 14, Gus’s Eats & Treats

Have you ever been out boating for hours on end, then suddenly the hunger comes out of no wear and just smacks you in the face? This is a problem I have faced many times because honestly where I grew up to go to most of the restaurant’s around me you had to dry off, get dressed than honestly do you really want to go deal with a lot of people on your peaceful day out? 14-year-old Gus Schoenbachler of New Durham, N.H. at such a young age founded a way to capture this very niche market of hungry boaters. Gus had quite a nice menu and he started selling Ice Cream, Hotdog, and chips out of the same exact boat that his father did many years ago! However, it was not all smooth sailing for Gus. Someone decided to complain about him not having a food service license, so he went ahead and got that and registered a business in his own name! I for sure wish that I had someone like Gus in my little town that could have quenched my needs.

Sir Darius Brown- Beaux and Paws

Who couldn’t love a dog when he’s got a nice little bow tie. As a pet lover myself I was instantly drew into this article and had to take a deep dive into it. Sir Darius himself is no stranger to the entrepreneur business, he was a recipient of the Global Child Prodigy Award, which is an award given out to children with extreme talents in a diverse field of activities (more on that here)

Brown’s mission at Beaux and Paws is so cute. but he started it because of such a terrible thing. Brown frequently volunteered at many pet shelters in his city in New Jersey which he learned the terrible reality we live in that is many dogs end up getting euthanized while they are at an animal shelter in order to try and preserve space and prevent overcrowding.

At beaux and paws Brown hand creates many bowties that you yourself can purchase. and for every bowtie that is sold he will create the same one for a dog at a shelter in hopes that the little extra style can help them find a home.

As a result of his actions and his business Brown has been able to build up quite the following on social media platforms and he uses his influence as a way to promote these shelter dogs.
