Notable companies like Cole Haan, Bloomingdale’s, and Neiman Marcus all carry his product. Moziah Bridges is a prime example of taking a simple problem and solving it into a successful business. The story is inspiring in how he did it at such a young age and even taught himself those skills. He is almost a prime example of what a successful young entrepreneur should look like.

Doherty and Jam

Young entrepreneur Fraser Doherty started making jams with his grandma at the young age of 14. He grew up in Scotland and eventually he would go door to door selling jams to his neighbors. Then he expanded by selling his jams at the local farmers market and biking to his customers to deliver his orders. He began to receive more orders than he could handle. So he dropped out of his high school and began renting a factory on occasion to meet demand. As word continued to spread, high end supermarket Waitrose approached Doherty and ultimately his jam ended up on their shelves. Eventually Doherty went global and by 2019 he sold his 5 millionth jar of jam. This story follows how even something so small can grow into something big and successful through hard-work and dedication. Doherty shows how entrepreneurs do not necessarily have to come up with something new, they can do something that’s been around in a new way. This way of thinking can lead to big things in the business world.

Ryan’s Recycling Company

Entrepreneur Ryan Hickman grew up hating the waste of cans and bottles. He would go with his dad to the local recycling center where he would get $5 a haul. He then started to do this practice with his neighbors until he started his business at age 7 called Ryan’s Recycling Company. Quickly he gained recognition and appear on the famous Ellen show. Ryan has raised more than $14,000 and helped recycle 1.5 million cans/bottles. He also started a non-profit to even educate kids on the importance of recycling. It is amazing how Ryan saw a big problem and even at a young age did something proactive against it.
