Giancarlo Purch- “Blazendary”

Giancarlo Purch started a YouTube channel in 2014 as just a 14 year old kid. He has created content in relation to streetwear and sneakers throughout the last 8 year. Purch creates vlogs where he goes to different stores and will purchase or trade shoes. He also made some great videos going to Sneakercon, where he would buy and sell shoes. He would often give tours of his house and he took a lot of pride in his bedroom which was basically a huge closet filled with expensive clothes, shoes, and accessories. Once his channel continued to grow, he saw an opportunity to create his own streetwear brand called Blazendary. This brand sells simple pieces of clothing like sweatpants and t-shirts. He chose to make the design on all his products, three plus signs. The plus signs are meant to ensure positivity in everything that you do. This is a really strong message and it is really cool that he built his brand based off spreading positivity. Blazendary has spread into reselling other designer products, while also selling his merchandise. More recently, Giancarlo has gotten serious about saving and investing, so that he can set himself up for his future endeavors. He has started to film YouTube videos about investing and trying to help other young people to get into that space. He has invested in stocks, cars, and real estate. These investments were able to help him move from Charlotte, North Carolina, to New York City where he is able to better pursue his career. Giancarlo Purch has a really unique story

Lamelo Ball- Big Baller Brand to Puma

Charlotte Hornets star, Lamelo Ball was making large pay checks, even when he was 16 years old in high school. After going viral for a half court shot during his career high 92 point performance when he was only a freshman in high school, the world took attention to the Ball family. Their father, Lavar Ball, a failed NFL player got their brand started at a young age. They called it Big Baller Brand, with the abbreviation BBB, for the 3 Ball brothers. The brand started by selling shirts which became very popular among teens at the time. Next, they moved into the realm of designer basketball shoes. Lamelo was the first son to get a signature shoe, and he was only in high school at the time. The shoes retailed for $395, making them a not very popular option for basketball shoes. This shoe may not have been a big money maker, but it certainly drew a lot of attention to Lamelo. After high school, he ended up playing professionally in Lithuania and he became a part owner of the team he played for.
